A relaxed private sea kayaking day in the beautiful inner Turku Archipelago — easy to reach, easy to enjoy and tailored to your group.
This private guided kayaking tour is perfect for families, friends, company groups and travellers who want a safe, beautiful and personal archipelago experience without travelling far from Turku. We start from Satava Island, only about 20 minutes from Turku city centre, and paddle into the sheltered waters of the Turku and Naantali archipelago.
The tour is planned according to your group, the weather and your previous experience. It can be a calm first sea kayaking experience, a relaxed nature day with a picnic break, or a slightly longer and more active paddling tour for a group with previous kayaking experience.
You do not need previous sea kayaking experience. Your professional guide helps you with the equipment, teaches the basics and chooses a route that suits the conditions and your group.

Shoes or sandals that can get wet
Water bottle
Sunglasses
Sunscreen
Hat or cap
Small towel and swimming gear if you want to have a swim
Personal medication
Change of clothes for after the tour
Avoid cotton as your main paddling layer, especially in cool weather. Wool or synthetic outdoor clothing is better.
Food
For the shorter version, we recommend bringing a water bottle and small snack (energy bar, fruit or alike). For the full-day version, we include an outdoor lunch with coffee.
Weather and safety
Sea kayaking is weather-dependent. We always choose the route according to wind, forecast and group level. The tour may be adjusted, shortened, moved to more sheltered waters or rescheduled if needed for safety. Light rain is not a problem, but strong wind or thunder may require changes.
